It’s Holiday time and Mystic Farm & Distillery is Santa is trading in his sleigh for a stool at Mystic. Come visit with Santa and his elves this Saturday, December 21st from 12 to 4 pm. Santa will be set up in the Old Rickhouse for selfies and photos. Join us December 22nd, for a professionally led course on the art and science of blending bourbon! In 2023 & 2024, we won Best Bourbon under 5 years in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for our Broken Oak Whiskey; a blend of bourbons from our Broken Oak casks.

The masterminds behind this excellent bourbon will lead you through blending your very own bottle! We hand select samples from 3 of our barrels to bring you the best tasting experience. Through the course, you will sample these bourbons individually and work with your instructor on identifying flavors and creating blends that are unique to you and your tastes. At the end, you will take home a 375 mL bottle of your delicious and customized blend. Participants also receive a tour of the distillery, so you can see where and how we make the bourbons you will try.

Swing by Mystic Farm and Distillery on December 27th from 7-9 pm for a never-forget swing dancing class!

Get ready to “cut a rug” with Joel & Jackie Plys from Retro Rhythm.  They specialize in Swing Era dancing from the 1920s-50s.  Swing Dancing is a great way to get fit, have fun, and socialize. No partner is required for the lesson as we will rotate. If you want to stay with one person/partner throughout the lesson we can accommodate that as well.  

There will be a 30 minute class from 7-7:30pm to teach you how to swing, followed by social dancing from 7:30-9pm with a live DJ for you to show off your new skills!

Each class will last two hours and feature instruction on the basic line dance steps, terminology, technique while learning fun dances. This class will give you all the confidence to dance the night away at our Monthly Line Dancing Party!

Each class will be $10 per person. Drink service will not be available during the classes. A water station will be available, but we also encourage participants to bring their own water bottles.

Each participant should bring about 2 gallons of chili and have an ingredient list. There will be a first, second, and third place prize for each category.
