Sample a variety of chocolates alongside hand-selected Mystic bourbons to explore countless unique flavor combinations. Our Broken Oak has won the Best Small Batch Bourbon under 5 years in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for both 2023 & 2024. Our bourbons have also won many other awards and accolades.

The masterminds behind this excellent bourbon will lead you through blending your very own bottle! We hand select samples from 3 of our barrels to bring you the best tasting experience. Through the course, you will sample these bourbons individually and work with your instructor on identifying flavors and creating blends that are unique to you and your tastes. At the end, you will take home a 375 ml bottle of your delicious and customized blend. Participants also receive a tour of the distillery, so you can see where and how we make the bourbons you will try.

Please join us at Mystic Farm & Distillery from 7 to 10 pm, April 11th for our monthly line dance party presented by Carolina Crew Line Dancing's Sue Jennings. The crew will lead various dances throughout the event and offer individual instruction (by request only). Music will range from traditional country to pop songs. All skill levels are welcome, so come out and cut loose with some delicious cocktails and lively music!

Every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30, Mystic will be hosting a Dedicated Beginner Line Dancing Classes with instruction by Carolina Crew Line Dancing's Sue Jennings.

Each class will last two hours and feature instruction on the basic line dance steps, terminology, technique while learning fun dances. This class will give you all the confidence to dance the night away at our Monthly Line Dancing Party!

Each class will be $10 per person. Drink service will not be available during the classes. A water station will be available, but we also encourage participants to bring their own water bottles.

The American Wildlife Refuge's Raptors will be returning to Mystic Farm and Distillery in Durham on April 5th. The AWG is one of the oldest all volunteer bird of prey rehab centers in the state. They will bring their beautiful ambassador raptors to teach us about the importance of their conservation and rehabilitation efforts, up close and in person.

It will be a day where you can see the birds, try some bourbon, and take a tour of the distillery. This is a family-friendly event, all ages are welcome. Please make a reservation below.

Host: Chris Rivoli is a regular at Goodnights Comedy Club. Chris has performed all over the east coast and lived in a basement without windows for 6 months while trying to make it in NY. 

Feature: RJ  Jurgenson is an Army vet who got is start in comedy in 2012 in Los Angeles. He has opened for many top comedians such as Tom Segura, Illiza Shlesinger, Andrew Dice Clay, Dave Attell and Theo Von!

Headliner: John Thorton is a stand up comedian who has performed all over. He has opened for Rory Scovel, Kyle Kinane, Andrew Dismukes of SNL and Nate Bargatze.

Swing by Mystic Farm and Distillery on March 29th from 7-9 pm for a never-forget swing dancing class!

Get ready to “cut a rug” with Joel & Jackie Plys from Retro Rhythm.  They specialize in Swing Era dancing from the 1920s-50s.  Swing Dancing is a great way to get fit, have fun, and socialize. No partner is required for the lesson as we will rotate. If you want to stay with one person/partner throughout the lesson we can accommodate that as well.  

There will be a 30 minute class from 7-7:30pm to teach you how to swing, followed by social dancing from 7:30-9pm with a live DJ for you to show off your new skills!

Starting at 2 PM, the Sword Conservatory will provide demonstration, technique and instruction in Irish Stick Fighting!

Irish stick fighting is a unique and storied martial art deeply rooted in Ireland’s history and culture. The Shillelagh Irish Stick is a devastatingly effective weapon from ancient times and it is still an extremely practical and effective weapon today.
